An amplifier configuration that physically removes all harmonic distortions, cross modulation distortion, and intermodulation distortions that occur when multiband amplification is performed. Harmonic distortion is eliminated by harmonic reactance load and fundamental power factor adjustable load amplifier (registered in US9257948B2), while cross modulation distortion and intermodulation distortion are suppressed by a demodulator that maintains mutual isolation.

Details

Keypoint

It is impossible to reduce distortion in multiband amplifiers using DPD. There is an international project to solve this problem by using 3-D DPD, but it has not been successful so far.

Benefit

Simultaneous multiband amplification does not degrade adjacent channel leakage power, and the load on the DPD (digital predistorter) is extremely low.
